What is Canonicalization?

Canonicalization is a process of redirecting multiple URL to a single URL or you can say if you have multiple pages with the same content/product you can use canonicalization concept to map to main product page.

  • Before launching the canonical tag you need to check whether it has been implemented correctly or not.   • There is one more solution available for handling duplication issue called 301 redirect and meta noindex.
